The Joker Final Trailer Is Here And I Am Still Shaking….

If probably sound like a broken record but Joker is hands down my favorite villain — in EVERY fandom. Marvel, Harry Potter, DC, Star Wars — you name it. I am not sure why but I have always held him in a very special place in my heart. We just got the Joker final trailer and I have to admit, I am over the moon hyped about it. Which surprises me. 

Honestly when I first found out that Joaquin Pheonix was going to play Joker, I was nervous. Why? I am not quite sure. I was nervous about Heath Ledger too and clearly I was VERY wrong as he is my favorite Joker (for now). But I think because I just love Joker SO MUCH, I would be nervous about anyone trying to portray him. Having read the comics, I think of him a certain way in my head, and if that misses, would I like it?

Then we saw the first trailer… the Joker teaser trailer. And I was excited. VERY excited. Now that we have the final trailer? I think this might just be my most anticipated film for the rest of 2019… 

My Reaction to the Joker Final Trailer

Joker doesn’t really have an origin story in the comics, and so there is a lot that this movie could get away with. And how they were setting up Arthur to become Joker, was pretty amazing in my book. “All it takes is one bad day.” — right? The way everyone treats him, no wonder he turns out like that. 

I feel like this rings very true to society today. Be nice. Treat others how you want to be treated. You never know how close someone is to breaking. Seeing all the other people in the trailer copying him with the clown masks — it is just so… perfect. There is really no other word to describe it.

It sure seems like Joker is going to be a dark and twisted comedy, and I couldn’t be more excited about it. An Oscar win for sure. Clearly life goes wrong with Arthur. He can do nothing write. And it drives him mad. Drives him insane. He becomes… Joker.
