The 1984 version of Dune has some pretty fantastic quotes — ones so good that I wonder if they will appear in the 2020 version as well.

With a new Dune movie coming soon, I knew I had to check out the 1984 version, which I had never seen. It did come out the year I was born after all (giving away my age here). I have to admit, it was a lot better than I expected it to be, and I loved seeing some familiar faces! You may not know this but Kyle MacLachlan was one of my first ever interviews! I have also interviewed Sir Patrick Stewart before.
As a total Sci-Fi geek I was hooked almost immediately. Sure, the special effects aren’t as awesome now as they were then, but they were still pretty fun to watch. I have since ordered myself the book, and am hyped for the 2020 Dune!
