What You Need To Make Sausage Stars Appetizer

I told you these sausage stars are easy to make — and they are! If yo use the pre-cooked Jimmy Dead sausage crumbles, they are even easier! That is my go to, especially when I am the one hosting the party and have lots of other recipes and things to take care of.

    • 2.5 cups of Pork Sausage (crumbled) — I like to use the Jimmy Dean fully cooked crumbles.
    • 1 cup Ranch dressing
    • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
    • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    • phyllo dough
    • vegetable oil

You will also need a muffin tin to cook these sausage stars in.

That’s great! I have tried several times to make phyllo dough and it never comes out as good as store bought. What’s your secret?

I looked up the recipe and discover its too cheap compared to the price of the store bought.

I watched tons of videos, made a few dough I am not proud of, and finally got it right. I am hoping to share my experience one day.

I think the only thing I did differently when I got the desired results was to sprinkle my dough with a mixture of wheat and corn flour before gently rolling out the stacks of flat dough.

      Do you use that too?
