My girls are super in to crafts. They love to create gifts for family members – especially around the holidays and for birthdays. So when I asked them if they wanted to come up with some fun valentines, they jumped at the chance. Something that they love almost as much as crafting is Welch’s Fruit Snacks. My oldest always takes one to school with her for lunch and my youngest enjoys one at home daily as well. We had an absolute blast designing valentines for our family and friends together – and snacking on Welch’s Fruit Snacks of course!
DIY Valentines
We were given some awesome supplies to make the perfect valentines for our friends and family:
We found that the best way to give valentines with Welch’s® Fruit Snacks in them is to create a pocket. You can use a doilie or simply another piece of construction paper. Decorate the pocket with the stickers, glue, or whatever your mind can come up with. Then simply slip in the pack(s) of fruit snacks. It’s as easy as that.
You can also open up the bag and put the fruit snacks inside out of their package – this works especially well when you create a smaller pocket. Another fun way to include the Welch’s® Fruit Snacks is to make a card by folding a piece of construction paper in half. Write your message on the card, but glue or tape a pack of fruit snacks on the inside. My girls especially loved doing this for their friends.
