    Paramount Pictures brings star power to CinemaCon 2026, unveiling a massive lineup featuring Sonic 4, a new Call of Duty film, and horror hits.

    Paramount Pictures took the stage at CinemaCon 2026 in Las Vegas to unveil an ambitious slate of upcoming theatrical releases. The studio thrilled attendees with a high-energy presentation that included first looks at massive blockbusters like Sonic the Hedgehog 4 and a new live-action Call of Duty film.

    BILLIE EILISH – HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D)

    Releases in theaters: May 8, 2026

    Directed by: James Cameron and Billie Eilish

    Cast: Billie Eilish, Finneas O’Connell

    Paramount presented 3D footage of this concert film, which captures an innovative new experience from the tour. After getting a sneak peek, I need every concert movie in 3D. It is so seamless and something truly special. Billie Eilish fans will be thrilled to get up close and personal with her, but music lovers will enjoy it as well.

    SCARY MOVIE

    Releases in theaters: June 5, 2026

    Directed by: Michael Tiddes

    Cast: Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, Regina Hall, and others

    The Wayans family and Anna Faris took the stage to present footage of this reunion that aims to spoof modern horror and cancel culture. This movie looks just as hilarious as the original. It is so good to have the team behind the first one back.

    Johnny Knoxville announced the official title and presented the first trailer for this final installment in the franchise. He got a little emotional, but that is to be expected. The movie revisits the best stunts while experiencing the last ones.

    PAW PATROL: THE DINO MOVIE

    Releases in theaters: August 14, 2026

    Directed by: Cal Brunker

    Cast: Carter Young, Mckenna Grace, Terry Crews, Jennifer Hudson, Snoop Dogg, and others

    The studio shared a trailer for this adventure, which follows the pups as they crash-land on a tropical island filled with dinosaurs. Music from the Backstreet Boys was teased as well.

    STREET FIGHTER

    Releases in theaters: October 16, 2026

    Directed by: Kitao Sakurai

    Cast: Noah Centineo, Andrew Koji, Callina Liang, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoai, and others

    Following an introduction by Bruce Buffer, the cast presented the film’s trailer, which features a story set in 1993. The trailer is incredible. They are fully leaning into the video game of it all, and I cannot wait.

    EBENEZER: A CHRISTMAS CAROL

    Releases in theaters: November 13, 2026

    Directed by: Ti West

    Cast: Johnny Depp, Rupert Grint, Andrea Riseborough, Sam Claflin, Daisy Ridley, and others

    Johnny Depp took the stage to present footage of this upcoming holiday film which reimagines A Christmas Carol.

    THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE 3

    Releases in theaters: December 23, 2026

    Directed by: John Rice

    Cast: Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, Rachel Bloom, Danny McBride, and others

    The studio presented exclusive CinemaCon footage for this animated sequel. As a fan of the first two, I think this one will be a lot of fun.

    MR. IRRELEVANT: THE JOHN TUGGLE STORY

    Releases in theaters: December 25, 2026

    Directed by: Jonathan Levine

    Cast: David Corenswet, Isabel May, David Krumholtz, Michael Shannon, and others

    Phil Simms introduced a taped greeting from David Corenswet prior to the trailer presentation. As someone who did not know anything about this story, and then looked it up, I just know this will be an inspiring and emotional film.

    CHILDREN OF BLOOD AND BONE

    Releases in theaters: January 15, 2027

    Directed by: Gina Prince-Bythewood

    Cast: Thuso Mbedu, Damson Idris, Amandla Stenberg, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Regina King, Viola Davis, and others

    Director Gina Prince-Bythewood and the cast presented exclusive footage of this African fantasy epic. Regina King stated “Black girls deserve to see themselves in worlds of wonder, power, and imagination” while Gina Prince-Bythewood described the film as “intimately epic, action-packed, magical, fun as hell, and unlike anything you’ve seen before”. This is based on a book, which I will absolutely be reading before release.

    K-POP SUPERSTAR: THE MOVIE

    Directed by: Benson Lee

    Cast: Ji-young Yoo, Eric Nam, Yoo Ji-tae, Tony Revolori, and others

    The studio announced the title and shared exclusive footage of this film about a girl competing for a spot in a new K-pop group. As a massive K-pop fan, this is right up my alley. I watched with a big smile on my face, and truly cannot wait to see this one in theaters.

    SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 4

    Releases in theaters: March 19, 2027

    Directed by: Jeff Fowler

    Cast: Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz, Kristen Bell, Idris Elba, Keanu Reeves, and others

    Paramount showcased a sizzle reel that included a video greeting from James Marsden and Tika Sumpter. Amy is finally a part of the theatrical universe, and my children and I cannot wait to see her on the big screen.

    A QUIET PLACE PART III

    Releases in theaters: July 30, 2027

    Directed by: John Krasinski

    Cast: Cillian Murphy, Millicent Simmonds, Jason Clarke, Jack O’Connell, Emily Blunt, and others

    The presentation included a video greeting from director John Krasinski. While we were told pretty much nothing about this film, I am thrilled that Krasinski is back in the director’s chair. These movies are terrifying, and I am sure the third will be no exception.

    TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: MUTANT MAYHEM 2

    Releases in theaters: August 13, 2027

    Directed by: Jeff Rowe

    The studio shared a sizzle reel that included a video greeting from Seth Rogen, James Weaver, and Evan Goldberg. The first movie is fantastic so I cannot wait to learn more about the sequel.

    UNTITLED CALL OF DUTY FILM

    Releases in theaters: June 30, 2028

    Directed by: Peter Berg

    The presentation featured a sizzle reel with Peter Berg and Rob Kostich regarding this upcoming adaptation. As a huge gamer, and fan of this franchise, I cannot wait to see what they come up with.

    HEART OF THE BEAST

    Directed by: David Ayer

    Cast: Brad Pitt, J.K. Simmons, Anna Lambe

    The studio shared exclusive CinemaCon footage of this survival story. If you are an animal lover, this will pull at your heartstrings.
