    Bride Hard red carpet interviews

Get ready for an explosive time as the action-comedy Bride Hard hits theaters on June 20th. This film promises a unique blend of wedding chaos and high-stakes action, as a disgraced former secret agent is forced back into action when her best friend’s wedding is taken hostage. With a stellar cast bringing the laughs and the punches, Bride Hard is a great movie to see with a group of friends.

We caught up with the incredible cast, including Justin Hartley, Rebel Wilson, Anna Chlumsky, Gigi Zumbado, and Sherry Cola, at the red carpet premiere of Bride Hard. They revealed what they are most excited for viewers to see in the film, giving us a peek into the outrageous fun in store. Gigi Zumbado also shared a hilarious off-set story involving oysters, crawfish, and a bold offer from Justin Hartley, and even divulged what she’d love to see for her Heart Eyes character, Monica, should there be a sequel to the hit horror film.

Justin Hartley on the Outrageous Action

Mama’s Geeky: What are you most excited for fans to see in Bride Hard?

Justin Hartley: I think just how outrageous the movie gets at certain points. You know, a lot of explosions. I take a lot of hits. If you’re a fan of comedy, come see the movie. If you hate Justin Hartley and you want to see him get his ass kicked over and over and over again, come see the movie. It was great. It was fun. I got a lot of help. Honestly, the ladies did all of the hard work. They were the ones doing it, I was basically just taking the hits. It was pretty simple, actually. It’s a lot of trust. I never got hit once. So it was great.

Rebel Wilson Compares Bride Hard to Bridesmaids Meets Die Hard

    Bride Hard red carpet interviews

Mama’s Geeky: What are you most excited for people to see in this movie?

Rebel Wilson: I think it’s just a really cool, it’s like Bridesmaids meets Die Hard. It’s got some comedy, and it’s got some action, and it really is just fun. I’m finding there aren’t that many, just fun movies out there in the cinemas. I think there’s hardly any. This video will kick ass on streaming anyway, but if you can, if you just want a fun night in the cinemas, go check it out.

Anna Chlumsky on ‘Lady Power’ and Insane Fun

Mama’s Geeky: What are you most excited for people to see in this movie?

Anna Chlumsky: Oh my gosh. Just lady power. It’s so fun. And also, we’re just insane and we’re ridiculous and it’s all over the place and it’s a blast.

Gigi Zumbado Shares Wild On-Set Story and Heart Eyes Hopes

Mama’s Geeky: Is there anything funny or memorable that happened on set while filming Bride Hard?

Gigi Zumbado: We ate a lot of oysters and a lot of crawfish. And one night, I will say, Sherry Cola did have to hold my hair up. We did have to pull an Uber over. Cause if Justin Hartley offers you a shot, you take the freaking shot. So I will regret that, but also not regret it.

Mama’s Geeky: If Heart Eyes were to continue, what would you like to see for your character, Monica, in the next one?

Gigi Zumbado: I want to fight. I want Monica to get a chunga fight in there. Get some aggression, take her earrings off, and throw hands a little bit, support her best friend. Last time she was oblivious to everything. I think it’s time for her to show up.

Sherry Cola on Stunts, Mom Wisdom, and Nobody Wants This Season 2

Can you tease anything about Nobody Wants This Season Two?

Sherry Cola: I’m just so thrilled to be a part of Nobody Wants This. Such a feel good show. And with these icons, Adam Brody, Kristen Bell, and Tim, Jackie, Justine, everyone is just brilliant, and it just makes you feel warm and fuzzy inside. I think that’s what the world needs right now. An example of a healthy relationship. I think that’s what was so refreshing about it. And why people watch it on repeat is because it was something that made us feel good. And then that I don’t take for granted. Season two is going to be just as good as season one.

Mama’s Geeky: Do you have any crazy wedding stories?

Sherry Cola: Listen, you know what’s funny? I was a maid of honor, like two weeks before we filmed this. So I had weddings still in my hair and I was ready to go back into another wedding with a little more plot twists. But no, this is such a good time. And truly the theme is girl power. Look at this cast. Look how stunning we are. Look how messy and chaotic and badass we are. You know what I’m saying? Let’s just keep representing.

    About Bride Hard

Sam (Rebel Wilson) is a world-class secret agent… and a pretty terrible maid of honor. After blowing off bridal duties for an international spy mission, she’s demoted to bridesmaid at her childhood best friend’s wedding.

What should’ve been a weekend of reconnecting and celebration turns into a five-star death trap when armed mercenaries crash the big day. Sam’s the only one who can save the bride, and hopefully earn back the trust she lost along the way.

Dodging bullets and trying not to ruin the floral arrangements, Sam takes on the ultimate wedding crasher, realizing that sometimes the toughest mission isn’t taking down the bad guys, but showing up for the people who matter.

Bride Hard comes to theaters on June 20.
