The Umbrella Academy Season 3 Ending Explained
The Umbrella Academy season 3 sure was a wild ride! With a whole bunch of new siblings, that continued to be killed off, to their realization that the mothers had been killed by none other than Harlan, Sissy’s son, it was a roller coaster of emotions.
When Luther was killed by Reginald, many viewers thought it would be the end for him, but luckily he made it through the end of the season, sort of, as did the rest of the Umbrella siblings — plus one, with their new / old brother Ben.
The Umbrella Academy season 3 ending leaves things open for a season 4, that we all but know we are getting. But where can they go from here? First we must give you The Umbrella Academy season 3 ending explained.

Reginald did indeed team up with Allison to ensure the family would pass from Hotel Obsidian to Hotel Oblivion and change the time line. Here he was able to orchestrate the new world that they would live in, and the new time line that would take over for the destroyed world. Five did warn his past self NOT to save the world, but of course, he didn’t end up listening.
In the end, Allison was able to get her husband Ray back, as well as her daughter Claire, who was from a previous marriage. This is quite weird and confusing, but the reason she worked with Reginald and agreed to his plan, was so that she could be with both the loves of her life.
As for Luthor’s love, Sloane, she is nowhere to be seen. However he has run off to find her and while we are certain she will have no recollection of him, chances are she was still born in this new time and he will be able to locate her. Getting her to fall in love with him all over again might be a challenge though. Especially since chances are she won’t have her powers just like the rest of the siblings don’t have theirs.

This new Ben was able to remain alive as well. Remember, everything that is happening in this new time is Reginald’s doing, so he reverted back to the original seven siblings, including Ben. The world that we see in the final moments is pretty much all owned by Reginald, who is reunited with his dead wife.
So what will happen in The Umbrella Academy season 4? It is far too early to tell, but one thing is for sure, it’s going to be interesting!
We hope you enjoyed this The Umbrella Academy season 3 ending explained.

About THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY Season 3
After putting a stop to 1963’s doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all. But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize things aren’t exactly (okay, not at all) how they left them.
Enter the Sparrow Academy. Smart, stylish, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone’s concerns.
Navigating challenges, losses, and surprises of their own – and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the Universe (something they may have caused) — now all they need to do is convince Dad’s new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong.
Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline?
Season 3 of THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY is streaming now on Netflix.
