Once Upon A Snowman is the new Disney+ short that no one knew we needed but we totally do! This short tells the story of Olaf right after he was created by Elsa. He goes through several different scenes of the popular movie Frozen and trust me, you will be cracking up watching it!

Josh Gad reprises his role as Olaf, and we also see some other favorites return briefly like Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and of course, Oaken! Find out how Olaf got his nose and why he loves Summer so much in Once Upon A Snowman!

10 Funniest Once Upon A Snowman Quotes

If I am being totally honest here I could write out every single line from this short. Once Upon A Snowman is hilarious because of all of Olaf’s quotes. I was literally laughing out loud! All of these quotes are from Olaf himself — enjoy!

“I can juggle! No. I cannot. I got too confident there.”

“I’m having a bit of a crisis of identity. I think.”

“So I’m made of snow, but I’m walking on snow. That’s weird.”

“Wandering Oaken’s. Did you know if you scrambled up those letters it’s an anagram for naked Norwegians.”

“I’ve never identified with anything in my whole life! It’s like snowmen and Summer just belong together.”

“Since when do wolves eat meat?”

    “Use the buddy system.”

    “Have you seen our butt?”

“You need this even more than I do.”

“I’m Olaf. And I like warm hugs.”

    Overall Thoughts

Since this short is only eight minutes long it is kind of hard to give it a detailed review without giving away the entire script and plot. But what I can say is that this short is so funny that you should expect to be laughing out loud along with your kiddos! Once Upon A Snowman follows Olaf in the moments right after he was created and fans will get to see what makes Olaf, Olaf!

Since Olaf is one of my favorite characters in the franchise, I was thrilled to see him back in a starring role! He is the same Olaf we all know and love, even though this is even before we got to know him. I think the story is super fun and clever — and also totally cute! The whole family is sure to enjoy it! Parents, be prepared for your kiddos to start singing Let It Go again.

I absolutely love that we get to see him travel through some of my favorite moments in the movie Frozen, and his time in Oaken’s is just hilarious! The animation style is absolutely stunning, which we have come to expect from Disney. Just take a look at the photo below, gorgeous! This short is well worth watching with the family. I mean, it will take you less than ten minutes so why not give it a shot!

    About Once Upon A Snowman

The previously untold origins of Olaf, the innocent and insightful, summer-loving snowman who melted hearts in the Academy Award®-winning 2013 Disney animated feature, Frozen, and its acclaimed 2019 sequel, are revealed in the all-new Walt Disney Animation Studios animated short, Once Upon a Snowman. The film follows Olaf’s first steps as he comes to life and searches for his identity in the snowy mountains outside Arendelle. Once Upon a Snowman is directed by Trent Correy (animation supervisor, “Olaf” in Frozen 2) and Dan Abraham (veteran story artist who boarded Olaf’s “When I Am Older” musical sequence in Frozen 2).

Once Upon A Snowman comes exclusively on Disney+ October 23, 2020.

My son has found many many Easter eggs in this movie short

To post 2, in wandering oakens when Olaf wears the 3d glasses the beach from moana is in there with the black rock the grandma stands on. And when the pics are faster you see the picnic from tangled.

      Yay
