Director Peter Ramsey Talks Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse

You probably know Peter Ramsey as the Academy Award®-winning Director of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse. I know that is what pops into my head when I hear that name. Before that project he did so many others, especially as a storyboard artist. During my interview with him I just had to ask him if he was connected to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2. His answer might surprise you!

“I know all those guys…. Studios not too far from my house… I’ll be checking in… I’ll haunt the hallways and peak around the corners. I think that movie is like a big family at this point.” – Peter Ramsey

So does this mean Peter Ramsey is directing Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2? Of course not! But considering he wont the Oscar for it I would hope he would be considered for it. I gave the “best animated film of all time” title to Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and I stand by that to this day. I would love to see Peter attached to this project and I think at the very least, he will have something to do with it.  

Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse 2 is slated to hit theaters in October 2022!
