Thank you to LD Entertainment for inviting me to LA to cover the Dog Days premiere. All opinions expressed are 100% my own.
When I got invited to attend the Dog Days premiere in California, I was really excited. I have two adorable dogs and I thought the movie looked super cute (stay tuned for a full review tomorrow!). One of my favorite parts about this event ended up being the pre-party on the green carpet at the premiere! It was so much fun. Whoever planned it did a great job because despite the heat, I had a fantastic time. From a candy bar, to dog themed food, to an actual dog pit – there were so many amazing things to do!
Themed Food
You can’t have a pre-party on the carpet without delicious food! At the Dog Days premiere there were LA Street Dogs, Pretzel Wrapped Hot Dogs, and Corn Dogs. I am a big hot dog fan so this was right up my alley. Pretzel wrapped hot dogs are a weakness of mine so I was really fighting hard not to have one (thanks Keto). There was also a super fun candy and cake pop bar!
Dog-rific Activities
If you have a dog, then you would have loved being at the Dog Days red (but literally green) carpet. They had a station where you could create a dog tag for your furry friend – with lots of tag options to choose from! They also had a puppy pit in the center of the party area. Yes, a puppy pit. Here you could play with lots of adoptable dogs and trust me, I wanted to take a few of them home. I fell in love with one named Tess, which is so close to my name it must have been fate. There were also balloon animals – correction, only dogs, of course! My personal favorite though was the photo booth! My friends and I had a blast in there!
Celebrity Sightings
No movie premiere is complete without some celebrity sightings. I was so happy to have more time to chat with some of the cast – all of whom are super nice and genuine people. We spent quite a bit of time talking with Ken Marino, who is the director and also makes a quick cameo in the film. I could tell how proud he is of this film, as he should be, and how much he wants it to succeed. I also ran into some actors who were just there to enjoy the film, like Adam Scott. Check out these photos to see who else I saw.
