One of my favorite movies is Bad Moms. I went to see it in theaters with a group of girlfriends and have seen it several times since. I own it on blu-ray and put it on every few months. It makes me laugh so hard, even after having seen it multiple times. The movie totally captures the truth about moms – and that is why I am really excited about the sequel, A Bad Moms Christmas. There was a lot going on at the time it was in theaters, so I didn’t get to go see it. Universal Studios sent me an advance copy of it on blu-ray and I could not wait to check it out.
About A Bad Moms Christmas
The original trio of suburban Chicago pals, Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell, and Kathryn Hahn, are joined by newcomers Christine Baranski, Cheryl Hines, and Susan Sarandon as the leading ladies’ respective mothers. Raunchy, witty, and fun, A Bad Moms Christmas also stars Justin Hartley and Peter Gallagher and offers a hysterical look into the lives of moms dealing with familial pressures and expectations during the holidays.
Written and directed by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore, this movie follows our three under-appreciated and over-burdened women as they rebel against the challenges and expectations of the Super Bowl for moms: Christmas. And if creating a more perfect holiday for their families wasn’t hard enough, they have to do all of that while hosting and entertaining their own mothers. By the end of the journey, our moms will redefine how to make the holidays special for all and discover a closer relationship with their mothers.
My Thoughts
The first Bad Moms was so good, I thought there was no way that it could be topped. But I was wrong. From the moment I popped in A Bad Moms Christmas, my sides were aching from laughing so hard. I am not even exaggerating when I say that my face hurt the entire next day from the laughing as well. This movie is fantastic and a must see for all moms – especially those that are fans of the first one.

One of my favorite things about home releases is all of the bonus features. They are usually pretty amazing – and A Bad Moms Christmas is no different. The gag reel had me laughing so hard, I thought I was going to pee myself – sorry for the TMI!

I have not seen the first movie yet. I just think it will be like watching reruns of my own life as a mother lol!!
