Operation ResCute

Operation ResCute has an amazing mission. It is to educate the next generation of young readers about adopting shelter animals in the hopes that they will do that in the future. My girls absolutely love their new stuffed dog, Jingles. The book is actually all about her and is based on a true story! It is such a heart warming story. Every time I get to the last page I tear up, and we have read it at least 15 times so far. My girls love the story – and I love that they love it! When we get to the page where Jingles gets a scratch on her cheek, my oldest is always sad and squeezes her stuffed Jingles. My daughters are always fighting over who gets to take Jingles to bed every night. 

This story is such a great way to teach little ones about the importance of adopting from a shelter.
