In just 42 days (but who is counting, right?) my family and I will be going on a 7 day cruise aboard the Disney Fantasy. I was lucky enough to take my daughters and mother on a 3 day cruise on the Disney Dream last summer. I knew right away it was something we had to do as a family, and for longer the next time. We decided to book this one because it had the Star Wars Day at Sea, and we are HUGE Star Wars fans. Be sure to follow along my social media accounts while we are aboard (Feb 25th to March 4th) and come back here for tips, tricks, and more!

One of my most favorite parts about our Disney Cruise was our day at Castaway Cay. Castaway Cay is Disney’s private island – and it is beautiful! I have been to islands in the Caribbean before, but nothing like this. Not only is it gorgeous and relaxing – it is decked out Disney! If you are a Disney fanatic like me, Castaway Cay should be one of the top reasons you need to book your Disney Cruise now. And there are so many reasons to get off the boat when you pull into Castaway Cay.

I recently went on a Disney Cruise and had the time of my life! It was just a three day cruise but it was a blast. My family and I have since planned a second one for this coming February and I cannot wait to experience it with my husband. He has been in class for work and was unable to attend the last one, so I took my mom. I was sure to take lots of mental notes on what adult activities there were that my husband and I could enjoy while our daughters are at the Oceaneers Club and Lab. There were actually lots of things – but my top three MUST DO activities that I recommend for adults on a Disney cruise are hitting the spa, eating at Palo (or Remy), and lounging in the 18+ deck area.

Planning a Disney Cruise can feel overwhelming at first – I get that. My husband and I had been researching for a few months when I was given the opportunity to take my daughters on a 3 day cruise thanks to Disney Cruise Lines. This was a total blessing – and I used it to help decide what exactly we wanted out of our 7 day cruise (we ended up booking a trip on the Disney Fantasy which includes the Star Wars Day at Sea – score!). I have put together some tips that will hopefully help make your Disney Cruise planning go quickly- and even included a packing list.

I used to live in Florida and have been to Universal Studios Orlando more times than I can count. I even had an annual pass for a few years. I recently went for the first time with young kids (3 and 4 years old) and I admit, I was a little nervous about it at first. I wasn’t sure what they would be able to do and if it would be worth it. Well, it was totally worth it! I have put together some tips and tricks to make sure that you and your kids can have a great time at Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure in Orlando, Florida!
