WordWorld has always been a favorite show in our house – ever since the first time we all watched it. My daughters LOVE it – and I love it because it has helped them grasp the concept of spelling. At just 3 and 4 years old, they can spell many small words thanks to WordWorld. In this show, everything is made up of the letters that spell it. This is a great visual way to teach kids to spell. The episodes are always hilarious and teach good lessons as well. I really enjoy cuddling up with my girls and watching this show together. It is a great family show and will get your little ones’ brains working. The new DVD is fantastic and focuses on vehicles – your kiddo is sure to love it!
My daughters are huge Littlest Pet Shop fans! In fact, I am too. It is one of my favorite shows to watch with them. We have quite the collection of the DVDs already, and were so thrilled to add another one to it! Littlest Pet Shop: Pet Tales features 5 must see, hilarious episodes! Pre-order or purchase here.

My family love My Little Pony. Our house is filled with stuffed ponies, pony figures, pony clothes, and pony movies. My daughters are probably the biggest My Little Pony fans on Earth (and my husband and I are right behind them). We have the TV episodes set to record on our DVR and we are always sure to watch them as a family. Ask my husband about any pony and he can tell you – he has all the cutie marks memorized! So of course we were thrilled when Hasbro and Shout Factory Kids teamed up to release yet another DVD containing the TV episodes! It means we get to clear some space on the DVR and that the girls have a new DVD to play on long car rides in the van. My Little Pony Friendship is Magic: Friends Across Equestria contains 5 amazing episodes – including the 100th episode of this series (Slice of Life). I highly recommend this show to anyone and this DVD contains some of the best episodes (although they are all amazing!).
Kate and Mim-Mim is one of our favorite shows in this house. My girls watch Disney Junior every day so that they can see this show. My husband and I actually enjoy watching it too. It is so cute seeing the girls so excited about something. When this DVD arrived at our door, they, well, they freaked out! My 4 year old kept saying that she couldn’t wait to watch Kate and Mim-Mim in the car now. In fact, after we watched it through once the DVD went right into our player in the car. The girls now insist on watching it every time we take a car ride, and I love hearing them laugh in the back seat as they watch it. If you have not seen this show yet, I highly recommend introducing your little ones to it. It is adorable and teaches great lessons.

Even though we own Frozen (and watch it at least once a week) it will be fun to see it on TV for the first time. I am even letting my 4 year old stay up late on a school night (shhhh – don’t tell her teacher). Frozen starts at 7:00 p.m. EST on SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14th and Stuck in the Middle will start at 8:45 p.m. EST. If you can’t tune in – set those DVRs – you won’t want to miss this! The “Stuck in the Middle” preview episode will also be on WATCH Disney Channel and WATCHDisneyChannel.com, available to users on tablets, phones, set top boxes and computers, beginning Sunday, February 14.
My young daughters love Daniel Tiger from PBS Kids. It is one of their favorite shows, and I love that because they are always learning from it. PBS Kids is my favorite TV channel that they watch because every single show teaches them something – from math, to spelling, to reading, to life lessons – they have it all. Daniel Tiger is one of the best in my opinion. He is a ton of fun and based on one of my favorite shows when I was growing up, Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood. I love watching my girls sing Daniel’s songs as they are doing things that he does. For example, when I dropped my oldest off at school for the first time she sang “Grownups come back.” like from the episode where Daniel was nervous to go to school. We use his songs all the time and I just love him! The latest DVD, Super Daniel, features NINE episodes and came out today! My daughters love the episodes on this one and so do I. We have been on a super hero kick lately so it came just in time. I really recommend Daniel Tiger – he is fun for the whole family!
I am a HUGE fan of Snoopy, Charlie Brown, and the rest of the Peanuts gang! Every holiday, I search my TV Guide frantically to find out the air dates of the specials. Believe me, I have them all on DVD, but there is something about watching it on TV with my daughters like I did growing up that really adds to the holiday. It just wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t make popcorn and sit on the floor in front of the TV to watch them as they air. Well, I have found out when the Peanuts Valentine’s Day Specials are airing and I wanted to pass the information on to you guys! Be sure to set your alarms (or your DVRs) and enjoy!
