When I started all this, my goal was to lose 21 pounds. I wanted to be 135 pounds. A healthy, fit, 135. After just 3 weeks of Nutrisystem, I am getting there. A lot quicker than I thought I would be. I feel great. I am not starving. I get to have desserts, and snacks, and cheese! Haha… I am loving this. The food is delicious, for the most part. On Friday this week, the new shipments came in. I was really excited to replenish my stock and even see some new foods to try!
In this week’s post, I am not going to go through my favorites and least favorites for each meal like I have previously. There get to be too many “repeat” meals come week 3. But I will talk about some of the standouts and disappointments of the week.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Breakfast Meal: French Toast – I was really pleased with the flavor in this! I was nervous that it would be lacking without any syrup, but it wasn’t.
Breakfast Meal: Turkey & Ham Omlette – This was amazing. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it. I would eat this for breakfast every day in a heartbeat!
Lunch Meal: Cheese Tortellini – Something about this sauce was a little too…sweet…. for me. I didn’t really enjoy it. I mean, I didn’t have to choke it down, I could definitely eat is again, but it is not a favorite.
Dinner Meal: Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza – I was so excited when I saw this in my cooler. My favorite pizza is chicken bacon ranch – and this really stood up to the test. It was delicious!
Dinner Meal: Mac & Cheese With Beef – I was really looking forward to this meal and I must say, I was disappointed. It just didn’t hit the mark for me. Something about the beef tasted a little, off. It was OK, but definitely not at the top of my list.
Dessert: Red Velvet Whoopie Pie – This was good. This was real good. So good, in fact, that I ate it two nights in a row. It is the perfect size and tastes…heavenly. This is my favorite dessert so far, hands down.

Full Disclosure: This week I still had a pretty bad cold – complete with the chills, and ended up only working out 2 days. Horrible, I know. I feel like I am finally kicking it and I hope to workout every day this week. Also, Friday night, we ordered out pizza and wings. I had two wings and one slice of pizza. I think that was a good helping size and it did not seem to effect my weight loss.
