Disney Pixar’s Coco brings a whole new meaning to the word family. There is nothing like cuddling up with your family to watch this film.

As you might know, Disney•Pixar’s Coco won a 2018 Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Motion Picture. It also topped the domestic box office Thanksgiving holiday weekend, became the highest grossing film of all time in Mexico, and broke records in China and earned widespread praise. Unfortunately, my family never had a chance to see it in theaters because of my husband’s crazy work schedule. So we are thrilled that this vibrant tale filled with love and laughter arrives home on February 27th – and we received an advance copy!

    Perfect for Families

Every week, we have a family movie night, so of course we knew what we were going to watch this week – Coco! We made some popcorn, cuddled up on the couch, and watched it together. In true Disney fashion, I shed some tears (OK, a lot of tears). Both of my daughters were completely transfixed by this film. The music, the visuals, the story – it was all incredible. A must see for anyone – but especially important for families to watch together. It will make you hug your loved ones just a bit closer after watching it. There is a surprising twist toward the end that I refuse to give away to you, but WOW. Just trust me when I say you need to watch this film!

    About “Coco”

In Disney•Pixar’s “Coco,” Pixar Animation Studios’ 19th feature film, Miguel dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz – despite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music. Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself in the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Héctor, and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel’s family history.

    Bonus Features

One of the reasons I always like to purchase the blu-ray/DVD combo pack of a film is because of all the amazing bonus features! Deleted scenes are a great way to get to know the film more in depth. COCO does not disappoint with it’s seven deleted scenes and so many other awesome bonus features!
