J-Pop sensation ONE OR EIGHT releases new mini album, new music video for TOKYO DRIFT, and announces upcoming South and North American Tour.

Today, Japanese pop sensation ONE OR EIGHT returns with their new mini album GATHER, a bold, high-energy release that reimagines what makes Japan stylish. Blending diverse genres with distinctive sonic elements, the project brings together a wide range of influences to usher in a confident new era for the group.
GATHER marks ONE OR EIGHT’s most ambitious body of work to date, showcasing their musical versatility and boundary-pushing approach. The album opens with focus track “TOKYO DRIFT,” a thrilling, fast-paced anthem that samples the iconic Tokyo Drift (Fast & Furious) theme and embodies the “bet on yourself” mindset that has defined the group’s rise.
Written by Pharrell, the track arrives alongside an action-packed music video that captures both the energy of the song and the vibrant spirit of Tokyo, transporting viewers straight to the city’s streets.

The album continues with “DSTM,” featuring the first-ever sample of Rihanna’s global hit “Don’t Stop the Music.” Also included is recent single “POWER,” a hard-driving, high-energy pop track built for momentum and movement.
Recently selected as Ending Theme Song 1 for the TV anime Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers, “POWER” serves as a declaration of strength, unity, and self-belief. Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers is available to stream in North America via Crunchyroll / Discotek.

GATHER arrives after a landmark run for ONE OR EIGHT since their official debut. The group first broke through on August 16, 2024 with “Don’t Tell Nobody,” produced by hitmakers Ryan Tedder (Taylor Swift, Adele, Tate McRae) and David Stewart (BTS). The single debuted at No. 1 on Billboard Japan’s Heatseekers Songs chart, instantly establishing them as a breakout act.

Momentum continued with “KAWASAKI (with Big Sean),” released in December of 2024, which climbed to No. 5 on the U.S. iTunes Top Rap & Hip-Hop Songs chart. The collaboration also marked a historic moment as ONE OR EIGHT became the first Japanese group to walk the red carpet at the VMAs, signaling their growing global impact.

With GATHER, ONE OR EIGHT kicks off 2026 at full throttle, channeling ambition, evolution, and relentless drive into a release designed to rally fans worldwide.
