Rabbids Invasion: Mission To Mars is a fun adventure for kids that teaches some important lessons through all the crazy.

Rabbids Invasion Mission To Mars review

Fans of the Rabbids know they are silly, crazy, dumb creatures that are here strictly for entertainment value. With their new tv special length movie, Rabbids Invasion: Mission To Mars coming to Netflix, those who are unfamiliar with them just might fall in love with them. As a parent they are fun that the whole family can laugh along with, but to my daughters they are everything.

My girls are nine and ten and they LOVE the Rabbids. Not just because of the TV show, but because of the video games as well. The Rabbids properties are filled with ridiculous, childish humor — and the same goes for their new movie, Mission To Mars.

Rabbids Invasion Mission To Mars review

This story follows several lucky Rabbids who are chosen to go on a trip to Mars. They are bringing with them a special terraforming cube in order to make the environment on Mars livable for humans. As it all unfolds it becomes clear that something else is going on. But since Rabbids are not known for their smarts, will they be able to fix things before it is too late?

Rabbids Invasion: Mission To Mars is jam packed with the humor that we all have come to expect from the Rabbis, but there are some valuable lessons for children hidden here as well. There are great messages about accepting others for who they are, which is something we can all use a reminder of now and then.

Rabbids Invasion Mission To Mars review

The film clocks in at just over an hour long, which is the perfect length for something like this. Any longer and I might have gone insane myself, although I can guarantee my kids would have been fine with it. While I do love the Rabbids as much as the next person, the aliens here were the standout for me — one in particular.

This movie is very predictable, nothing new, and nothing special, but if you are looking for something that will have the whole family laughing while the kids sneakily learn some things, Rabbids Invasion: Mission To Mars is the perfect choice.

    Rating: 2.5 out of 5
