A Whisker Away is one of my favorite anime movies, and it is fulled with some great quotes — mostly about depression and learning to let yourself be loved.
If you like anime movies you are sure to love A Whisker Away. This movie discusses real topics like depression, and learning to be loved. It quickly became one of my favorite anime movies, and I have watched it several times already. There are a lot of lessons to be learned from it, but my favorite is about learning to let others love you.
A Whisker Away is about a young girl named Miyo (Muge is her nickname) that struggles with loving herself, and allowing others to love her. After her mom abandoned her at a young age, she has a hard time with that. Miyo has a crush on a boy from school, Hinode. And even though she acts happy all the time, she isn’t.
When she meets a mask seller, who will sell her a cat mask that allows her to become a cat, she goes for it. But then the line between cat and human start to get blurred and she thinks about staying a cat… It really is a great movie and a must watch!
