I don't even know what I just watched. Or if I liked it."

Adam Driver

Adam Driver delivers an incredible performance, and is ultimately the saving grace of Annette. He is the reason it is more good than bad, and it is clear he put his heart and soul into this role.

So Bizarre

So much of this movie is twisted, dark, and flat out bizarre. It takes nearly half the movie until it becomes clear what it is about. Even then, there are some moments and scenes that seem disjointed and out of place.

The Final Scene

For me, the final scene is so powerful, shocking, and emotional, that the whole movie comes together in that moment.

Yes, it took way too long to get there, but Annette is worth watching for that ending.

Annette Review

This movie is one that will stick with you for a while, whether you enjoyed it or not. Strange, bizarre, and unique -- this one is interesting. I had to sleep on it to decide if I liked it or not, ultimately deciding it is more good than bad, largely in part thanks to Adam Driver.
