Marvel Studios’ Eternals was released on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and DVD earlier this week. The discs included never-before-seen bonus material including four deleted scenes and a gag reel. We can’t forget that Eternals is also available on a digital copy and on Disney+.

The film follows a group of ancient heroes from beyond the stars who had protected Earth since the dawn of man. When monstrous creatures called Deviants, long thought lost to history, mysteriously return, the Eternals are forced to reunite in order to defend humanity once again.

Directed by Academy Award-Winning Chloé Zhao, Eternals has a stellar ensemble cast that includes Gemma Chan, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Kit Harington, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie.

I had the opportunity to chat with young American actress Lia McHugh, who was cast to play Sprite when she was only 14 years old. The young actress did a lot of horror/ thriller films – I chatted with her when she was promoting The Lodge – and, now entering the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) was a dream come true for her, it’s like going from zero to 100, it’s like a whole another level” her career.

The talented actress also explained how it was the approach and the conversations with the director Chloe Zhao to play a 7,000 years old lady in a body of 12 year old kid and said: “most of the conversations happened just during the work too, the conversations happen in between takes, but I think the biggest thing was for her to just help honestly each of us to understand our characters really well and I think she hired us a lot based on the fact that we were all very similar to our characters.”

The 16-year-old actress had a wonderful experience working with Chloe and she thinks “she’s one of the greatest directors I’ve ever worked with. She’s so graceful and like put together and she knows what she wants.”

When I asked her about the stunts, McHugh said “stunts are hard, and I really wanted to do them though. I was like I want to do all my own stunts like I’m going to come in here, I’m going to do a great job… it’s a lot harder than it seems.” And we all agreed that she did a great job, right?

I also asked her if there was a character/superhero from Marvel that she would like to hang out or to chat or to fight who will be. Without hesitating, McHugh said “I love Tom Holland! I think he’s the sweetest guy. I met him and I watched a lot of his interviews and he’s so charismatic, cute… he would be really fun to work with. I would love to pair up with Spider-Man.”
