If you are having a Minions or Despicable Me themed birthday party — or just love Minions — these Twinkies treats are for you! They are quick and easy to make, and taste quite delicious!

The kids can help make them too! So if you are having a themed birthday party it could be a lot of fun to have a station where the kids make their own Minions Twinkie! It will just take a few minutes and is a fun and unique activity.

What You Need To Make Minions Twinkies

Like I said, these are very quick and easy to make. You don’t even need a lot of supplies to do so!

    • Twinkies
    • small – medium sized candy eyes
    • black icing tube
    • blue icing (or white icing and blue food coloring)

    How To Make Minions Twinkies

These Minions treats will take just a few minutes to make, trust me. The first thing you need to do is create your blue icing if you don’t have it. Do that by mixing your white icing and blue food coloring.

After that decide if you are making a one or two eyes Minion, and place them toward the top of your Twinkie — but be sure to leave room for the hair!

Next, take your black icing tube and draw the Minion’s hair and mouth. Carefully outline the eye, or eyes, to form the goggles. Don’t forget the straps!

Take your blue icing and cover the bottom half of the Twinkie to create the overalls. Add straps if you are feeling ambitious.

These are easy enough that your kids can make them too! Mine love doing it and they say it is the best way to eat Twinkies now! And really, I don’t blame them.
