If you love, or even like, Queen, then you need to watch Bohemian Rhapsody. It is a rock biopic tale filled with heartbreak, wonder, and pure amazement. And of course, fantastic music. But it also has a lot of amazing quotes. Quotes about love, friendship, and family. These Bohemian Rhapsody quotes are sure to make you love Queen even more.
Yes, I finally just watched Bohemian Rhapsody this past weekend, and no, I do not want to talk about why it took me so long. Honestly though, my husband is OBSESSED with Queen, and Freddie Mercury. I knew this was a movie I wanted to watch with him and, quite honestly, it was a movie he was scared to watch. He didn’t want to hate it, because he knew Queen had a hand in it. Well, we were both blown away by this film! I was happy to learn a little more about Freddie and Queen — and he was happy to see it all come together in a fantastic movie.
Enjoy these Bohemian Rhapsody quotes!

“When I know they’re listening, when I know I really have them, I couldn’t sing off key if I tried.”
I feel like this quote truly encompasses Freddie Mercury. He was such an amazing performer, and the world truly is worse off without him. I only wish I had the chance to see him perform live, because I am sure it was incredible. I really think he loved his fans, and loved putting on a show for them.
“We’re Family. We believe in each other. That’s everything.”
If this quote doesn’t warm your heart, I don’t know what will. Bohemian Rhapsody shares the tale of Queen, and Freddie Mercury. It shows us that it was a tough road, but they always came back together…. Because they were family.

“Good thoughts, good words, good deeds. Just like you taught me, Papa.”
Freddie and his father didn’t have the best of relationships, so this part of the movie was a big deal. Clearly Freddie was always trying to impress his dad, even if his dad didn’t want to hear it. However, he finally came around and luckily, they had time together before Freddie passed. That scene where they hug — I cried my eyes out.

“There’s only room in this band for one hysterical queen.”
When Freddie told Roger this, I died laughing. That whole scene, as they argued about which songs would go on the album, was hilarious. I am sure things really can be like that in a band. Especially when that band is made up of all creative geniuses, not just one stand out. Especially when that band is Queen.
“I’m not the leader of Queen, I’m only the lead singer.”
Oh, Freddie. This was said during the press conference part of the film. Queen, but mostly Freddie, was being bombarded with questions. They were trying to promote an album but of course, no one wanted to talk about that. I loved seeing Freddie put the journalists in their place though. And this was one quote that did it.

“We’re four misfits who don’t belong together, we’re playing for the other misfits. They’re the outcasts right at the back of the room. We’re pretty sure they don’t belong either. We belong to them.”
This one just pulled right at my heart strings because I get it. I have been that misfit that doesn’t belong there. I really think that Queen was smart to realize that is who they were, and who they were playing for. And who needed them.
“I pity your wife if you think six minutes is forever.”
I threw this one in just for fun. Because there is no way you can’t laugh at this — especially in that scene because it is pure perfection. And the perfect come back. Ray Foster lost Queen. And it was hit loss.
