In the Hit-Monkey comic books, he often crosses paths with Deadpool. In this interview, Fred Tatasciore, voice of Hit-Monkey, reflects on what that would look like on screen.

Readers of Marvel comics know that Hit-Monkey and Deadpool often cross each others paths, and it is always hilarious and action packed when they do. The Hulu series, Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, has yet to feature Deadpool, but when we talked with the cast and creators, we had to bring up the option.

So could it happen? Absolutely. Everyone involved seems to love the idea, although that is for the much higher ups, like Kevin Feige, to decide.

Could Deadpool Cameo In The Hit-Monkey Series?

Fred Tatasciore, who voices Hit-Monkey, reflects on what that would look like on screen, while admitting that the character of Bryce (Jason Sudeikis) is very similar to Wade Wilson, AKA Deadpool, which could cause some problems for Hit-Monkey.

Here’s the thing about that though. It works out kind of perfect, because Bryce is very much like Deadpool in many ways. I think they would have a hard time getting along, maybe because they are so much a like, or that would work out pretty well, but it would be very stressful for Hit-Monkey. Because when you bring in Deadpool, you bring on a whole other level of destruction. Right? And humor, obviously. But this is psychotic. I think monkey is trying to get out of that world. Now you enter in somebody who is really steeped in it, biochemically. So yes, Deadpool would be a perfect perfect match.

    Bryce Is Similar To Deadpool

Co-creator, Executive Producer, Writer, and Director, Josh Gordon agrees with Fred, stating that Bryce has a lot of the same key character traits that Deadpool does.

That’s for people above our pay grade to decide. But look, in a great way, Bryce has a little bit of Deadpool in him, in terms of that sarcasm, in terms of that acerbic, bitter, view of the world. We’ve always talked about that, if they ever interacted, Bryce and Deadpool would probably hate each other. And Monkey would probably find Deadpool to be rather familiar. But you know, in the original comics, it was interesting, one of the only characters that Deadpool is seems to be scared of is Hit-Monkey. Hit-Monkey is almost a more violent version of him. So yeah, it would be great to have some crossover there.
