I was 10 years old when The Swan Princess first came out, and I have vivid memories of watching it over and over as a little girl. Now I have two daughters of my own, and am overjoyed to be able to share this movie with them! We had a movie night themed to The Swan Princess to celebrate its 25th Anniversary Blu-ray release (and yes this make me feel really old).
Honestly, I was taken aback by how much my girls enjoyed this movie. I had not watched it in years, and even though I wore out my VHS copy, there were some things I had forgotten about. Cuddling on the couch with my daughters, our plushes, and watching this movie was one of the best nights I have had in a while.
A Magical Movie Night
I was pretty excited when I received a movie night package to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Swan Princess. This is a movie I watched time and time again when I was a little girl, and I was finally going to be able to share it with my daughters! My Swan Princess movie night package included:
- Swan Princess backpack
- Swan, Jean-Bob, Puffin plushes
- Coloring book
- Swan Princess crown and necklace
- Film soundtrack
- The Swan Princess 25th Anniversary Blu-ray
After the movie, we spent our time coloring. This is something that I have always loved to do. It is a huge stress reliever for me. And of course having a coloring book themed to the movie we were watching made our night even better.
