The Best Low Carb & Keto Approved Turkey Recipe

A low carb and keto approved turkey for holidays and special occasions.

Ingredients
  

  • Whole Turkey 10 to 14 lbs for this recipe
  • 1 Celery stalk
  • 1 onion
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 stick of butter
  • poultry seasoning
  • salt
  • pepper
  • garlic powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Melt stick of butter and add seasonings to taste. Rub generously over both sides of the turkey, saving a small amount.
  3. Cut onion into quarters.
  4. Dice garlic cloves. 
  5. Add garlic, onion, and celery stalk to the rest of the butter mixture. Place it all in the cavity of the turkey, pouring in any remaining mixture.
  6. Bake for about 3 hours, basting the turkey with drippings every 30 minutes or so.
