Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience is so much more than a concert movie; it spends time with each member so STAY can get to know them better.

STAYS everywhere, all around the world, listen up: you absolutely cannot miss Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience in theaters this weekend. I was recently lucky enough to be invited by IMAX to catch an early screening at their headquarters in Los Angeles, and I have to tell you – I was completely blown away. Whether you are a longtime fan or a baby STAY like me, this film is definitely the way to experience the power of Stray Kids.
I’ll admit, as a newer fan, I felt a deep sense of devastation for missing the dominATE Tour in person. I have friends who are STAY, and I live with the daily regret of not going to the concert with them when I had the chance. By the time I fell down the rabbit hole and became a STAY myself, the tour had already passed me by. Thankfully, this film has given me a second chance. Because of Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience, I didn’t just get to see the show; I got to see the massive SoFi Stadium version of it – which is exactly where I would have been if I’d gone in person.
What makes this release so special is that it isn’t just a concert movie. Don’t get me wrong, I love a good concert film – I’m the person who has The Eras Tour playing in the background of my house at all times. But The dominATE Experience offers something more intimate. Throughout the insane, perfectly choreographed performances, the film weaves in dedicated time with each of the members.
We see them get vulnerable and go deep. They discuss the struggles they’ve faced and their profound love for their fellow members (as well as their fans). Getting to know them on this personal level is a gift for fans.
From a technical standpoint, the scale of this production is insane. The film captures the tour from every imaginable angle. You get views from way up in the 500s to see the sheer magnitude of the crowd, shots right in front of their faces on stage, and everything in between. It gives you the perspective of every single person in that stadium.
The cinematography itself is breathtaking, featuring sweeping shots that take full advantage of the architecture of SoFi Stadium. You get to see the fun, spontaneous moments on stage, and yes – for those wondering – they did include the carts! Seeing the members interact with STAY up close and personal on the carts is such a joy to watch on a massive screen.
While I won’t spoil the setlist, I can say the organizers did a wonderful job selecting a variety of performances that showcase the group’s range. This film is something that both new and veteran fans are sure to love. It has left me feeling more connected to the group than ever, and honestly, I am incredibly hyped for their next tour.
Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience officially hits cinemas and select IMAX theaters worldwide this Friday, February 6th, 2026. If you are in North America or Korea, look for those special advance eventized fan screenings starting Wednesday, February 4th, where you will receive a special commemorative ticket.
My biggest piece of advice? If you have the option, see it in IMAX. The film was shot for IMAX, and it is absolutely beautiful in that format. It’s an epic, front-row experience that makes you feel like you are right there in the heart of the stadium. Get your tickets now.
