Solar Opposites has remained consistant from the very first season, if not has gotten better. This series, which follows a team of aliens who have landed on Earth, is filled with hilarious comedy, ridiculous adventures, multiple side quests, and a whole lot of fun. Season 5 is now streaming on Hulu, and this time they are focused on family values.

Terry and Korvo are now married, as seen in the Valentine’s Day special. Over the course of the eleven episodes of Solar Opposites season 5, fans witness a honeymoon, bickering, big reveals, and of course, alien technology.

Solar Opposites season 5 is made up of eleven episodes, each of which is fantastic. There is not a weak episode in the bunch – and just wait until you see the adventure they have. From creating their own prestigious private school, to pulling out their What If? device, to an island filled with vengeful ex-boyfriends of Jesse’s… this season is nothing short of exciting and dramatic.

The Wall story lines have been a fun addition to the series. The decision to make each season a different genre for them is brilliant. Solar Opposites season 5 sees The Wall folks journey as a Western. It gets political, exciting, intense, and bloody – they really do not know how to now fight with one another.

While all of the wall story lines have been great, this is probably the best one yet. The Silver Cops started as a side story only recently, but those adventures continue through this season as well.

Solar Opposites is one of those series that just gets better and better. You might expect it to be episodic, but it truly is serialized, as things that happen in one episode will have an effect on future episodes. It has been a blast to follow this “family” of aliens and watch their relationships develop.

As per usual, the season ends with a cliffhanger which is sure to be addressed in the first episode of Solar Opposites season 6, which has been confirmed.

Solar Oppposites season 5 is now streaming on Hulu. Be sure to check out our interview with cast and producers to learn about the behind the scenes of this season.

About Solar Opposites

“Solar Opposites” centers around a team of four aliens who are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Dan Stevens) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambrone) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love TV, junk food and fun stuff.

On season five, now that alien mission partners Terry and Korvo are married, the whole Solar Opposites team are focused on family values.

All 11 episodes of Solar Opposites season 5 are streaming now on Hulu.
