As someone who not only watched this series as it aired, but is also a massive Smallville fan, this collection is a must own piece. It features all of the episodes but even more than that, the bonus features are amazing. The gag reels had me laughing until I was in tears, and the deleted scenes help to tell more to the stories that I hold so dear. With over 28 hours of bonus features even the most dedicated fans will see something new.
This show has the best Lex Luther and one of the best Clark Kents that have ever graced the screen — big or small. If you consider yourself a Superman fan and have never watched this show, you are truly missing out. Twenty years later it still holds up and while some of the effects might be outdated, the stories and heart are still there.
