Clifford the Big Red Dog is set to hit theaters on November 10th and a brand new trailer was just released giving more insight into the film.
Clifford The Big Red Dog is finally hitting theaters and in preparation for its release, the studio just dropped a new trailer. The trailer perfectly captures the fun family aspect of the film, and the comedy as well. Jack Whitehall stars as Uncle Casey and Darby Camp as Emily Elizabeth. The two have a lot of fun on screen together, which is apparent in the trailer.
What an adorable trailer that is sure to have kids everywhere looking forward to seeing Clifford on the big screen!
We were able to screen the film already and it is safe to say that fans of the Clifford the Big Red Dog books will be excited to see him coming to life on the big screen and in live action! He is adorable, big, and red — of course! Emily Elizabeth feels exactly like the character from the book, as does Clifford! It is clear that he has a very large heart to go with his very large body.
This movie is filled with adventure and fun, and is sure to be a hit with families everywhere!
Clifford The Big Red Dog Q&A
In support of the new trailer, we attended a special Q&A session with Jack Whitehall and Darby Camp — the stars of the film. They were so much fun to talk with and gave us a lot of insight into the filming of the movie.
One of our favorite tidbits is that they weren’t acting opposite a giant red dog (of course) but rather a huge puppet! They said the puppeteers were so good at expressing the emotions they would expect from Clifford that it didn’t take much getting used to at all. As for when Darby’s character Elizabeth rides Clifford, she was actually on something that resembles a mechanical bull! Super cool, huh?
This movie was Jack’s first time doing an American accent, and we have to admit he does a great job! He said there was a lot of improvisation while shooting, which he had a lot of fun with. He doesn’t remember for sure what might have made it into the film, but he remembers having a ball shooting it!
Both Darby and Jack hope that families take away the message of believing in yourself and others from Clifford The Big Red Dog when it hits theaters on November 10th!
