Road safety is extremely important. As a parent with kids who will be driving before I know it, I want to make sure they can easily monitor their speed. So thank goodness for the Uniden R7 radar detector — available at Best Buy. It tracks up to four signals simultaneously for greater awareness as you drive. This is also great for parents with young kids in the car — I know we all want to keep our children as safe as possible!
About the Uniden R7 Radar Detector
I personally think the large OLED display makes keeping your eyes and focus on the road mush easier. It includes arrows that identify the direction of incoming threats — and they even change color on a scale of green to red to indicate the signal’s strength. Pretty cool, right?
The detector comes with voice notification and a MAX speed warning system so you will be able to hear when you exceed the preset speed without taking your eyes off the road. This is something I would love for my kids to have, so I know they can be safe. I know we have all been there when we start to accidentally speed – so having this warning system in place is great. Being able to maintain a safe driving speed should be a number one priority while on the road, and the Uniden R7 Radar Detector will allow you to do that easily.
This radar detector has long-range detection, with high sensitivity on all conventional and instant-on radar bands. You can also filter noise from the K and Ka bands to prevent false detection, which can be very distracting while driving.
What Does it Come With?
The complete kit includes single and double suction mounts, carrying case, cigarette charger with a mute key, neoprene sleeve, and micro USB cable. It works with most vehicles, but be sure to double check yours before purchasing. Radar detectors are not available for purchase in Washington D.C. or Virginia.
