I Attended the Avengers: Endgame World Premiere & After Party

Avengers Endgame Premiere and after party

To say that I was excited to attend the Avengers: Endgame World Premiere is a bit of an understatement. If you know anything about me, you know that I am a HUGE Marvel fan. I have been reading the comics since I was a little girl, and seeing my favorite characters up on the big screen – it has been amazing! Full disclosure, I covered this event as press (all my hard work paying off!), and I totally covered my own transportation and hotel. WORTH IT!

My look! What do you think?

I could feel the hype, and the tension, as soon as I stepped on to the carpet. Sure everyone was excited to see THE movie of the year, but many were nervous too. I know I was! What was going to happen to our favorite heroes? Would we get the closure we needed? How many tears would I shed? All of these questions and more would be answered in just a couple hours. Be sure to read my spoiler free Avengers: Endgame review if you haven’t already.

Ming-Na Wen was so sweet to stop and talk to us for a few minutes, as well as pose for this photo.
Joe Russo was not only a co-director of this film, he makes a cameo in it!

Celebrity Sightings

You know I had my eyes peeled for those Avengers that might be lurking around. My goal was to get a photo with Jeremy Renner, who I have adored since getting the chance to interview him. While this didn’t happen, I did get kind of close to him, and get a great photo of him.

Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus were so nice! Miley’s music means a lot to me, so this was a special one.
Taika Waititi is such a brilliant man! I love him as the voice of Korg – plus he directed Thor: Ragnarok!

Seeing Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth – and having Liam take a group photo of us – was amazing! Miley’s music has helped me through some really hard times in my life (I have a half written article about it in my drafts that I just cannot seem to finish, but maybe someday), so I loved knowing she is super sweet in person.

Meg Donnelly is the NICEST!
Mack himself – Henry Simmons!

I loved that I was able to tell Henry Simmons I cannot WAIT for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to come back – and that I was able to talk to Taika Waititi about the What We Do In The Shadows TV Show briefly. But one of my all time favorite moments was getting to chat with Meg Donnelly. You might know her as Taylor from American Housewife, but she is also Addison in my girls’ favorite movie, Z-O-M-B-I-E-S. I was literally shaking talking to her because I knew how much it would mean to my daughters. She was so sweet and offered to make a video for them.

I had to tell Benedict Wong how much I love Deadly Class!
Karen Gillan thought my Nebula tattoo was pretty cool!
Frankie Grande should have won his season of Big Brother. Love him.
Scott Evans – Chris’ brother – was nice enough to stop and take a pic with us!
Check it out – Zoe Saldana photobombed our group photo with Taika Waititi!
David Dastmalchian from Ant-Man and Ant-Man and The Wasp stopped to take a photo with us at the after party!
Director of Ant-Man and Ant-Man and The Wasp – Peyton Reed!

After Party Ambiance

Everyone was feeling all of the feels after watching this movie. My spoiler review is coming next week, after everyone has had a chance to watch this movie, People were buzzing, trust me. We were all talking out our feelings to the only people in the world who could understand them. There were DJs playing live music, people dancing around, and even McDonald’s was there serving chicken nugget meals! There were fun photo opps, and the cast was mingling with everyone there. It was a pretty amazing experience that I will never forget.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26th!

The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

I wrote a breakdown of the second Avengers: Endgame trailer and well, let’s just say I was not right about everything but some… WOW! OK, you just need to see this movie..
