keto bacon cheeseburger soup

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 5 slices bacon diced
  • 4 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cups beef bone broth
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese softened
  • 8 cherry tomatoes diced
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste


  • Put bacon in soup pot and cook on medium heat until fully cooked. Remove bacon for garnish, leave drippings.
  • Add butter and onions. Cook about 3 minutes, until browned.
  • Add ground beef and cook until all pink is removed, about 5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle in salt and pepper.
  • Put softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and beef bone broth in the pot and cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until well blended.
  • Ladle soup in to bowls, topping with bacon and diced tomatoes
