Put bacon in soup pot and cook on medium heat until fully cooked. Remove bacon for garnish, leave drippings.
Add butter and onions. Cook about 3 minutes, until browned.
Add ground beef and cook until all pink is removed, about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle in salt and pepper.
Put softened cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and beef bone broth in the pot and cook over medium heat for about 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until well blended.
Ladle soup in to bowls, topping with bacon and diced tomatoes
