Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Review

An emotional and heartbreaking end to season 4."

– Mama's Geeky

Stranger Things season 4 is one of the longest television events in history, and with an epic finale that was the length of a movie, and jam packed with action and whole lot of emotion, it has now solidified itself as one of the best.

The addition of the football bullies was a brilliant move by the Stranger Things team. This was a wonderful way to have one of the members of the group being pulled away (Lucas) for part of the season, and also allowed him to go through his own arc when he needed to confront Jason.

Things between Nancy and Jonathan are still very much strained during the final few minutes of the season, which is sure to set up a rocky road for them in season 5. Will Steve end up with the love of his life? He very well could.

The biggest weak spot of this season is the Murray, Joyce, and Hopper story line. Right from the start these moments took away from the others, and while there were some really cool monster fights involved, overall the plot here was a bit messy.

having the final battle against Vecna take place in three different locations, with three different groupings of characters, was interesting. It was nice to see everyone come together and fight, without even really knowing what the others were doing.

Stranger Things Season 4 Volume 2 Review

Stranger Things Season 4 wasn’t all perfect, but it had some incredible moments. The biggest issue was how much the Hopper storyline felt out of place. With insanely long episodes, some of the pacing dragged as well.
