As most of you know I am a HUGE Star Wars fan! But something you may not know – I am also a huge football fan. I am thrilled to let you know that two of my favorite things are combining tonight – the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is debuting during halftime on ESPN’s Monday Night Football tonight (Monday 10/19/2015) when the New York Giants take on the Philadelphia Eagles in Philadelphia! The game starts at 5:15 p.m. PDT/8:15 p.m. EDT. Oh, and Lucasfilm also released the final version of the poster yesterday. Swoon. I am counting the down the days for this movie. My husband and I are seriously considering attending the midnight showing of it. We need to make up our minds quickly though because following the trailer launch, tickets to this highly anticipated cinematic event will be on sale everywhere movie tickets are sold! I have a Fandango gift card that is burning a hole in my pocket and anxiously awaiting for tonight!

As you all know, I am a ridiculously huge Star Wars fan. I have been counting the days until Episode VII comes to theaters since the second it was announced. I am even debating on going to a midnight showing (although being a mom of two little ones means that the next morning will involve lots of coffee!). Well, I just got some Star Wars news that made me totally geek out. I apologize for not getting it to your sooner – I was too busy playing around with it.
So we have already discussed a few times how ridiculously excited I am for STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. I am pretty sure that anyone is even part geek is excited about it. I have been waiting for Episode VII for so long and finally it is within my sites. Yes, we still have a few months but I feel like it is so close that I can taste it finally. This time of year always flies by for me with back to school and a handful of Holidays. And as if knowing the movie was so close wasn’t enough, Star Wars fans have now been invited to join in on a pretty epic global event on YouTube. Star Wars: The Force Awakens products are set to be unveiled in the world’s first-ever global live toy unboxing event. Unfolding over 18 hours in 15 cities and 12 countries, the event will see highlights from the range of epic merchandise revealed in a rolling New Year’s Eve style celebration featuring top digital stars from the Maker Studios network.
I am such a Disney, Marvel, and LucasFilms geek – which I am sure most of you know by now. So attending the Worlds, Galaxies, and Universes: Live Action at The Walt Disney Studios panel was like a dream come true. I was dying to hear about upcoming films like Captain America: Civil War, The Jungle Book, and of course, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. I walked in holding my breath and hoping for some visit looks at scenes, trailers, and maybe even some celebrity guests. I could not have even imagined the amount of awesomeness I was about to witness. There were a lot of laughs, and a lot of tears. Just being in the same room as some of these celebrities was a complete honor. I cannot wait to tell you all about what I found out!
I was lucky enough to be able to attend one of the most anticipated panels at the D23 Expo this weekend – the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts panel. There was so much news that my mind was racing. From Star Wars to Toy Story, the park expansions across the world are going to be incredible. Get ready to have your mind blown.
I am a huge Star Wars nerd! In fact, my husband and I went to Star Wars Weekend at Disney World for our honeymoon – and had a blast! We even got to meet Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett himself) and that was super cool! This past weekend was San Diego Comic-Con. I do wish I was there and I was totally living vicariously through my friends who were. There was a lot of amazing announcements that came out of this weekend, but most importantly, was all the Star Wars: The Force Awakens goodies. My husband and I are counting the days until this comes out (December 18th!)! I cannot wait to see it! I just know it is going to blow us out of the water!
I love General Mills Cereal and I love Star Wars. So when I found out they teamed up, I was pretty excited. General Mills and Star Wars are offering exclusive vintage movie posters in every specially marked box of General Mills cereals. Hidden inside each box, you will find one of six timeless movie posters featuring your favorite Star Wars films. My husband got me in to Star Wars when we first met. I am a little bit ashamed to say that I did not see any of the movies until I was in my 20s. I was really missing out – but have made up for it since. I have now seen each one at least 10 times. I am counting down the days for Star Wars VII. My husband and I already plan on going opening night and having my in-laws babysit. We cannot wait!
I am a geek, a gamer, and a lover of all things nerdy. And that, my friends, includes Star Wars. My husband and I went to Star Wars Weekend at Disney World for our honeymoon and it was amazing. We met Jeremy Bulloch (Boba Fett) and it was one of the best times of my life. So naturally we are both eagerly awaiting the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens! Yesterday in Anaheim, California, J.J. Abrams (writer/director/producer) and Kathleen Kennedy (producer) kicked off Star Wars Celebration with an exclusive new look at STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS. They welcomed surprise special guests from the film: Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaacs as well as veterans of the original saga Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, and Peter Mayhew. The talented team of filmmakers and actors shared a behind the scenes look at the upcoming film and, to the surprise of fans around the world, debuted a brand new teaser trailer.
