I love to keep things neat and organized in the kitchen. Messes in the pantry drive me crazy. I have everything stored neatly in jars. My husband and I have talked about pulling out the label maker and labeling them but there is an issue with that. I switch around the containers often, depending on how much we have left of certain things. That is why I was super excited when I came across these Chalkboard Labels from MagicMIL.
My older daughter goes to school two days a week. Other than that she is home with me. Because of this, I try to do a lot of projects and crafts with my daughters. I like to do things that help them learn and grow when they are home. I want them to be ahead of the curve when they start going to school full time. We have used Dr. Cool kits before (read my Pan for Gold kit review here) and they are great learning tools!
I love to draw and do crafts with my girls. Some days we will sit for hours with bug pieces of paper and draw whatever comes to mind. I love watching my 3.5 year old’s imagination come to life on paper. There is nothing better than that feeling. Gosh, she has grown up so much already. My 2 year old really tries to draw things now as well. She usually just ends up scribbling – but she lets me know that those scribbles are cars and animals and all sorts of things. I was so excited to be able to give them each their very own art kit from Jerry’s Artarama.
I love doing crafts with my daughters. Especially ones that they learn things while doing them. I am always looking up things online, making shopping lists, and preparing fun activities to do. It is a long process, and can be kind of a pain sometimes, so that is why I was really excited to learn about Imaginative University!
I love craft boxes. I am a little bit addicted to them and if I could sign up for all of them, I would. My girls get so excited when I tell them that another box full of goodies for us came. They cannot get enough of them. My husband is an engineer and was a nuclear mechanic in the U.S. Navy for 9 years. So he is a HUGE advocate of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) activities for children. When I told him about the Learn Garden box that would be coming and that it was filled with STEM activities – he got so excited!
My daughters love to do crafts and activities. But what they love even more than doing them with me, is doing them with their daddy. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that I stay home with them and he is at work. They do not see him as often as they would like and so any time with him they can get, they really appreciate it. That is why we were all so excited for the Cooper Kit to arrive! This is a subscription box for dads and their kids. Their motto is “Making Dads Cooler Than Moms” – I say trying anyways, right ladies?
CVS truly is a one-stop shop for everything! As you know, they had everything you needed for Halloween, and now you can go there for holiday gifts too! CVS has recently rolled out all their holiday goodies, so be sure to stop in at one near you to check out the selection. I was sent some lunch box puzzles, ROBO Magical Mermaids, a Mickey Mouse Waffle Maker, and a Sophia the First Art Set. First of all, let me just say how thoughtful CVS was to make sure that both my girls would be covered and not fighting over things. So amazing.
My girls love to do crafts. We also love to read. And some of their favorite movies right now are the Tinkerbell movies. So this Dreamland Fairy House kit was a triple threat for them! I do not think they could have been any more excited about it unless it came with a real fairy! The book that it comes with is such an amazing story about Dreamland Fairies and how they ran out of stories to tell in Dreamland. They come up with the idea to listen to children’s dreams and bring them back to Dreamland. I refuse to ruin anything else for you but it is is super cute and beautifully illustrated!
Toys for Your Little OnesGalt Toys has so many options for kids of all ages!…
I am sure I have said it many times, but I love doing crafts with my girls! And even better when these crafts can be educational and involve science! My husband is a nuclear engineer and so he is a big fan of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) programs for kids so he was thrilled when the Green Kid Crafts kit showed up at our door!
