Game Night with Tactic!

As you must know by now if you are a regular reader – we love games in this house! Not only do we have game night with the girls at least 3 nights a week, we play games ourselves once they go to bed. I am always looking for new games – ones that are fun, but challenge them as well. I think it is important to have some games that are strictly for fun – but some that help teach something to your littles as well. And thanks to Tactic, I found both!

Have a Blast with Green Kid Crafts!

I am sure I have said it many times, but I love doing crafts with my girls! And even better when these crafts can be educational and involve science! My husband is a nuclear engineer and so he is a big fan of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) programs for kids so he was thrilled when the Green Kid Crafts kit showed up at our door!

Generation Stressed: Play-Based Tools to Help Your Child Overcome Anxiety

Unfortunately, children these days are stressed. They really are. A lot of pressure is put on them for numerous things and many of them suffer from anxiety. It is a fact. Generation Stressed gives moms tips to help their child(ren) overcome that anxiety. I read through this book and I really enjoyed it. I feel like I now know the signs to watch for with my girls. I have also learned ways to reduce the stresses they have in their lives so they do not develop anxiety as they get older.

Entertainment Twister

Twister – A Classic Game! GIVEAWAY HOP ALERT

I was really excited to finally get Twister from Winning Moves so I can share it with my girls! My youngest is still a little young – not even 2 yet. But my 3 year old was pretty good at it! We played through as a family a couple times but then she wanted to try it herself. Twister was actually a good learning tool! Not just color recognition, but learning her right from her left. She loved it! Don’t mind the blurry picture, it was just too cute not to share!
