Here in upstate New York one of the biggest attractions of the summer is Harborfest in Oswego. This is only about a 15 minute drive for us and we went last year. We were very excited to go again this year because our youngest is at the age where she will be able to play. We opted just to go to the children’s section. The first thing we did when we got there was let the girls rides horses. They were $5.00 each and they got to ride a “sparkly” horse around for 3 laps in a tiny fenced off area. I suppose it was worth it though because they loved it!
Since I stay home with my girls, I try to do fun things that also help them learn every day. We have workbooks, which are great for letters and numbers, but when I discovered the Animal Trackers Club, I thought it would be the perfect addition to our “lessons”. #AnimalTrackersClub is a monthly subscription box for your little pre-reader (ages 3+). Each month will be centered around a different animal and you will receive a fact sheet, magnet, toy, project, mask, tracks card, and worksheets!
I am lucky enough that ThinkFun chose me to receive this game for free in order to review it! I was so excited when I found out because my 3 year old is really in to board games now. She would rather sit at the table and play games all day than spend time outside, or even watch TV! I am not exaggerating when I say we play board games for at least 3 solid hours every day in our house. We only own three games that are age appropriate for her so it has been the same thing over…and over…and over….this mama was very excited to be getting a new game to switch things up! And Robot Turtles did not disappoint!
