As you likely know already, my family loves to game! Every weekend we can be found playing video games, and Bomberman is one of our favorites. We love it because we can all play together – and my youngest just loves to buy all the different hats. While deciding on the pumpkin she wanted to make this year, her hardest decision was which hate her Bomberman pumpkin would have. A crab? Classic ball? Nope, she settled on the ice cream hat, and I am so glad she did!
My seven year old daughter has been watching (and playing) Skylanders for a few years now. So when I said I was making a Fortnite Drift Pumpkin for a segment on The Geekly Show, she told me she wanted to make a Skylanders one. After a few minutes debating who to make, she settled on Kaos because, well, he is bald. That was her number one reason. So here is some DIY step by step on how to make your own Kaos Skylanders Pumpkin!
If you didn’t know already, my family loves to game! We game together pretty much every single night. It is our family time before bed. Sometimes this includes board games, but it is usually video games. We rotate who chooses the game for the night, and we just added a new one in to the mix. I was thrilled to see Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze show up at our door because I have always loved the Donkey Kong games. I couldn’t wait to share it with my daughters.
I live in a house full of gamers, so we are turning on our gaming consoles nearly every single night. One of our favorite series has been the Scribblenauts games. My daughters love using their imaginations to create the silliest things – and I love seeing them use their imaginations. Earlier this week, the Scribblenauts Mega Pack was released. This is a new collection of two hit titles featuring upgraded versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited and Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. Why should you pick up this version? Because there is new content included for both titles of course!
If you have been following my site at all, then you know I am a huge gamer. One of my all time favorite places to shop for games is GameStop. They always have the best deals, especially on PRO DAYS. If you a GameStop Pro member these should be the days that you live for. If I added up the amount of money I have saved on Pro Days, I can guarantee it would be in the thousands. The next PRO DAY features over $3,100 in savings and is tomorrow, Saturday September 15th, 2018! Get ready to start your holiday shopping and save a bundle at the same time!
My girls and I love to game. OK, my husband does too. We are constantly checking out new games on all consoles – even mobile games. In fact, we love mobile games because we play them at restaurants or hotels when trying to pass the time. Each of my daughters have their own tablet and they get one hour of free play. Lately both of them have been choosing to play Stan Lee’s Kids Universe AR. They have so much fun exploring the world with Dex T-Rex!
We are a family of gamers and one of our favorite consoles is the Nintendo Switch. We are always looking for new games to play on it as a family. When a complimentary copy of Go Vacation arrived, we were all immediately excited. Just by looking at the case we could tell that this was going to be a TON of fun! We popped it in and have been playing it almost every day since. We even took it on our recent vacation to Walt Disney World to pass the time in the hotel.
You probably already know that the Smiths are a family of gamers. We own pretty much every console out there, and use them on a daily basis. My girls are 5 and 7 years old and their personal favorite is the Wii U. If we allowed them to play it all day, every day, they totally would. In fact there probably (definitely) have been days like that – don’t judge. I sat them down and asked them to pick out their favorite Wii U games to play so that I could share them with you. They narrowed them down to 10 and I have to say, I love all the games they chose too!
Hands down one of my favorite parts of going to a comic convention is checking out all of the cosplay. I love looking at all the details and recognizing the time that people put in to their outfits. Cosplay has always intrigued me and if I was more talented and crafty, I would cosplay pretty much everywhere I go. Instead I stick to bounding and wearing themed dresses. Niagara Falls Comic Con this year was filled with great cosplay. Everywhere I looked, there was another great outfit to check out.
If you know anything about me, you know I am a huge gamer – along with the rest of my family. Yes, even my daughters are little gamers. It is near impossible to drag them away from Animal Jam, Minecraft, and Super Mario Maker. Because we play so many games so often, we are GameStop PowerUp Elite members. This saves us a ton of money, not only when buying used games, but also when purchasing accessories and collectibles. GameStop even has special Pro Day sales which give us members an even better deal, and one of those is coming up this weekend! This one day sale is happening on Saturday May 19th, and you don’t want to miss it!
