Guardians of the Galaxy Cast Reveals Guilty Pleasure Songs

James Gunn is known for including fantastic music in his projects. His films and television shows always have a killer soundtrack. During the global press conference for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, moderator Nathan Fillion asks the cast and filmmakers what their guilty pleasure song is. Just wait until you hear what Kevin Feige’s is.

It doesn’t take Pom Klementieff long to say she likes to listen to Pony by Ginuwine and that it is because she loves Magic Mike. She says it puts her in a good mood. Karen Gillian claims that Brittany Spears is her guilty pleasure, although she owns it and doesn’t consider it to be guilty, she’s very proud.

Sean Gunn says that anything Barry Gibb ever wrote for female vocalists from the 1970s, for Barbara Streisand and so on. He adds that he doesn’t feel guilty either. Maria Bakalova says she has been listening to Stef Tony x TRANNOS’ Cash a lot.

Will Poulter explains that he owns it, and won’t call it guilty as well, but that he loves S Club 7.

Chukwudi Iwuji reveals that it has to be Lady Marmalade by Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim, Mya, and P!nk. He even sings a little bit of it for those watching.

James Gunn himself isn’t afraid to admit that he sings MMMBop by Hanson while he is in the shower, as well as Haircut 100’s Love Plus One.

Guardians of the Galaxy vol 3 press conference

While the majority of answers include the footnote that they don’t believe in guilty pleasures and that they own their go to songs, Kevin Feige immediately shuts this down. He one hundred percent believes in them because his is… the incidental music from Price Is Right circa 1970s. Yes, the game show. And yes, he listens to them in his car. In fact, he notes that the tracks have names and they have longer ones than you might think.

Due to the laughter, and mentioning that there is a lot to unpack here, Chris Pratt never answers the question. So what is his guilty pleasure song to listen to? We may never know.

About Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

In Marvel Studios’ “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” our beloved band of misfits are settling into life on Knowhere. But it isn’t long before their lives are upended by the echoes of Rocket’s turbulent past.

Peter Quill, still reeling from the loss of Gamora, must rally his team around him on a dangerous mission to save Rocket’s life—a mission that, if not completed successfully, could quite possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldaña, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Pom Klementieff, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Sean Gunn, Chukwudi Iwuji, Will Poulter and Maria Bakalova.

James Gunn is the director and also wrote the screenplay. Kevin Feige produces with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nikolas Korda, Sara Smith and Simon Hatt serving as executive producers.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 comes to theaters May 5th.
