Viewers who love the show Big City Greens are in for a spooky treat with this year’s Halloween special! If you thought last year’s special was fun, just wait. This episode brings mayhem when the family accidentally starts an alien invasion in their pumpkin patch — but that’s not all. Oh no, these alien pumpkins are body snatchers too, attaching themselves to unsuspecting townsfolk and controlling them.
Will they be able to save the day? Well, you can probably guess they will, but the journey is a LOT of fun!
When it comes to Halloween specials, there is something they always need to be — spooky! And Big City Greens Halloween special does a great job of that. There are jump scares, a truly scary plot, and a lot of fun costumes. The Greens are hosting a Halloween party and the whole town is coming. Because of this there are some great cameos from secondary characters fans don’t always see a lot of. They even make a habit of referencing last year’s Big City Greens Halloween special, which will certainly make long time fans giggle!
Sure the story is very predictable as most viewers will know exactly how it ends up, but it does a good job of filling the 22 minutes with some unexpected twists and surprises. It has the same old Big City Greens feel, meaning fans will be very happy with it. This is certainly a fun one for the family to gather around the TV and watch this spooky season!
About Big City Greens Halloween Special
In the special, titled “Squashed!,” the Greens prepare for their Halloween party and Tilly feels bad for Bill, who’s disappointed by the poor yield of his small pumpkin patch. When they visit BigTech to make a produce delivery, Tilly secretly “borrows” Gwendolyn Zapp’s alien chemical compound to make Bill’s pumpkins grow bigger. At first it works, making the pumpkins larger, but it also mutates them into body-snatching alien monsters.
