The Woman In The Window is coming to Netflix in May and I got to participate in a Q&A with the cast and watch the new trailer.

The Woman In The Window is a thriller that is coming to Netflix on May 14th and if the trailer is any indication as to how this movie is, it is super creepy — and I am here for it! The trailer gave me chills, more than once, and Amy Adams puts every bit of her into this role. In order to prepare for the trailer today, I was able to participate in a special live interview session with the cast and director, where we got to dive into a lot of behind the scenes information!

    Participating Talent

    • Amy Adams
    • Julianne Moore
    • Wyatt Russell
    • Anthony Mackie
    • Fred Hechinger
    • Director Joe Wright

The cast laughed and had a great time together for the full hour. Wyatt Russell answered who would be the best and worst roommates — Julianne Moore the best, and Anthony Mackie the worst. Of course it was brought up how this is a mini The Falcon and the Winter Soldier reunion, which this Marvel fan loved to hear. Anthony Mackie joked that he didn’t remember ever doing anything else with Wyatt Russell.

Since the movie was filmed pre-COVID, and features a woman who is afraid to leave her house, there was a lot of quarantine talk. Anthony Mackie, very clearly the funniest of the bunch, told a story about his neighbors and possums that had me cackling. The short version is that his neighborhood has a possum problem now because his neighbor leaves food out for stray cats. Yes, he tells it better.

It was very apparent how much the cast appreciates and adores each other, and Amy Adams talked about how she is obsessed with Julianne Moore and was thankful to get to work with her. Fred Hechinger said what he missed most about the cast was — the cast. He had a lot of fun working with them and still can’t believe he is in a movie with them.

When they showed us the trailer, the cast watched it as well, and when the screen cut back to them Amy was teary and the moderator of the discussion, Amy Robach, let us in on the fact that they were all complimenting her, and each other while they were watching it.
