Disney’s Noelle is now streaming on Disney+! Noelle is filled with inspiring quotes everyone needs to hear. Especially those of us that need to learn to believe in themselves. I think everyone has those moments where they feel alone and useless — I certainly do. And a lot of the quotes from Disney’s Noelle will help me get through them. Disney’s Noelle is a Christmas movie that spreads laughter, tears, and the Christmas spirit — and is something the whole family will love.
“It will fit you, when you fit it.”
What I take from this quote is that when you believe in yourself, things will make sense. Things will fit when you feel like they should.
“For once in your life try cleaning up your own mess.”
Noelle was a bit of a princess in the beginning. She others catering to her wants and needs. And she needed to learn to not only take responsibility for her own actions, but to venture out of her shell. Which is exactly what she did.
“Most people don’t know what’s in their hearts, let alone someone else’s.”
This quote from Disney’s Noelle is one that I really, really love. Because it makes me think to not only look inside myself, and find what my heart desires, but also to think about others. Think about their feelings and what might be inside their hearts.
“I can’t pretend to be someone I’m not anymore.”
How many times have you felt like you were putting on a show, and being something you are not. Do what makes YOU happy.
“No one has ever expected anything of you, Noelle.”
When Nick tells Noelle that no one ever expects anything from her, I could see her heart break in her eyes. If others just expect little to nothing from you, don’t let that get you down. Prove them wrong.
“Can you see love? Can you see sorrow? Can you see joy? Is there anything realer than that?”
THIS! Noelle says this after someone tells her that they only believe in what they can see. I think a lot of us feel that way. But can you see love? No. You can’t. And it realer than most things.
“I just thought this was my chance to do something right.”
Heart. Broken. I really felt for Noelle in this moment. I have been in the position where I thought I was doing something amazing. And then it blows up in my face. Or others don’t appreciate it. Or I just… mess up. I think we all have been there.
“The world just gets more awful and miserable, so what’s the point.”
Noelle says this during her speech to the Elf council. She then goes on to say that spreading just a bit of Christmas cheer helps. It might not fix things, but it gives everyone hope. That is always how I have felt about Christmas, so I loved that part.
“Sometimes all you need is a nice word from a good friend to make you feel good in your boots.”
The 10 minutes surrounding this part made me sob like a baby. I don’t want to ruin it for those of you that have not seen it, but this is the point where Noelle realizes she belongs. That she CAN do it. And that she was meant for that job. It gives me goosebumps just thinking about it — and yes I am tearing up as I type this.
“Traditions change. New ones are scary, but they might be great.”
Truer words have never been spoken. Things change. Life changes. Relationships change. And change can be scary. Trust me, I know. But sometimes it works out for the better.
