If you guys have been following me for a while then you know I went to Toy Story Land to interview the cast of Toy Story 4 and screen the movie before it came out. This instantly became one of my favorite movies of 2019 for so many reasons. My whole family has been eagerly awaiting the home release so that we can watch it again and again. So when it showed up at our door, along with some really fun carnival movie night accessories, we were thrilled!
How To Host A Carnival Movie Night
The best way to watch Toy Story 4 is with a movie night themed for a carnival! If you have seen it already, you know why I say this. If you haven’t seen it yet… well… I don’t want to spoil it for you but what are you waiting for?! It is available on digital and Blu-ray now, so go grab yourself a copy (or enter to win one below!).
The first thing you need is a carnival game, and because at Disney/Pixar they are geniuses, there is actually a lot of Toy Story themed carnival games! My girls absolutely LOVE this carnival game set because it comes with several different games. We set them up, along with a Buzz Lightyear Rocket Tent, all around our play room, and made a whole night of games!
Of course if you are having a movie night, you also need snacks! And luckily there are Goldfish and Fruit Snacks themed to Toy Story 4! My girls really enjoyed them (and so did myself and my husband — shhh!).
About Toy Story 4
Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody’s slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. As Woody and Bo discuss the old days, they soon start to realize that they’re worlds apart when it comes to what they want from life as a toy.

My favorite thing about a home release is the bonus features! I know I have said this time and time again, but it is true. I love learning more about the cast, and seeing things like deleted scenes and bloopers. Toy Story 4 was one of my favorite movies of 2019 so I was really excited to get this Blu-ray, and the bonus features were just as great as I had hoped!
