Why Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is a Must Play Game

marvel ultimate alliance 3 review

I am a huge gamer – I have been my whole life. My dad used to call me a “vidiot”, saying that I played video games in all of my free time. Things have not changed, and I was thrilled when Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 FINALLY came out. This game is just for the Nintendo Switch and worth every penny. Even if you don’t have a Switch, buy one now, and then buy this game. Still worth every cent.

Fun For The Whole Family

My daughters are six and eight years old, and getting them to play a game with me is getting harder and harder. They are starting down that path of not caring about their mom, but I turned that around with Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3!

Since I raised them to be super Marvel nerds like me, they were hyped to play! Since we purchased this game, we have spent countless hours, AS A FAMILY (this is huge, right parents?), battling evil and collecting Infinity Stones! Four player couch co-op is really hard to find, so we love when a game gives us that option!

Just Like The First Two

My daughters never played the first two Marvel Ultimate Alliance games, so they don’t understand just how amazing this game is. It is very similar in game play, which I LOVE! If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it! And they did this perfectly. Marvel Ultimate Alliance is easily the best gaming franchise for me. I could play each game through time and time again. And have.

Play As Your Favorite Character

If you are an X-Men fan, an Avengers fan, a Guardians of the Galaxy fan, and Inhumans — you can play as your favorite character. There are so many options to choose from! Which is what makes me tend to play these games time and time again. That way I can level up every character to their fullest, explore their powers, and just have fun.

There are so many aspects of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 that allow it to be an evergreen game. Besides the story itself, there are infinity rifts to battle, many characters to level up, not to mention DLC content coming. If you are a Marvel fan, even just a little bit, this is the game for you.

An Amazing Story

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 is not just a super fun game to play alone, or with friends and family. Oh no, it has an amazing story. I was truly intrigued to find out what was going to happen next. Where did all the Infinity Stones go? Was I going to find them? And who was I going to have to take on along the way?

Overall Thoughts

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 was all I could have asked for, and more. Very few games have 4 player couch co-op, which is something we crave as a gaming family. Not only does this game have it, it perfects it! Easily switch between one to four players — and your favorite Marvel characters! This game is an absolute must for… well … anyone!

With more DLC content coming, it is a game you can play time and time again!
