You guys know how I feel about Marvel — the movies, the comics, the television shows — so you know I have hyped when the next MCU slate was announced at San Diego Comic Con 2019. And now I can get even more hyped because we have more Marvel shows coming to Disney+!
I would be lying if I said that I was thrilled over all of them. There is one that has me like MEH because the character in the comic has just always rubbed me the wrong way. But we are getting Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight, and She-Hulk.
KEVIN FEIGE (PRESIDENT, MARVEL STUDIOS)
Ms. Marvel
THIS HAS ME OVER THE MOON! I love Kamala Khan. Like LOVE her. She is amazing in the comics and one of my favorites in all of Marvel right now. Kamala is a young teenage inhuman girl who has been learning how to cope with her powers. She can stretch for days (similar to Mr. Fantastic). I adore her! The girl has some SASS!
Moon Knight
I kind of love Moon Knight. Always have. His name is Marc Spector and he is an ex-CIA agent. He deals with multiple personalities, and usually adds a fun (I think) aspect to the comics he is in. I cannot wait to see what they do with this character, and kind of hope we get an origin for him.
She-Hulk
Meh. This is the one that has me like MEH. I am NOT a fan of She-Hulk in the comics. At all. But I am open to seeing her in her own series. It could be a lot of fun. Could be. And in the recent Avengers comics she dated Thor. And it was WEIRD. I hated it. If they go that route I might throw up. WOW. I have some feelings I guess.
