We just got a new clip from Avengers: Endgame and it made my jaw literally drop. Captain America has some choice words to say about Thanos, and let’s just say they aren’t up to his normal standards. Now, I have always been a Team Iron Man kind of girl BUT I think Captain America just pulled me over to Team Cap. At least a little bit. The man grew some balls! I have always felt he was a too much of a goody-two-shoes for me, but I am loving this new Cap! Now, if we could just get the beard back…
My Reaction
I am 100% positive this scene is very early on in the movie. Perhaps the very first scene we see. But it is everything and I am here for it. Seeing Captain America stop watching his language, well that made my day. During the Captain America: Civil War press event, I was lucky enough to interview Chris Evans, and he is an amazing guy. Hilarious. And he has nothing to do with why I am Team Iron Man. I just prefer the bad boys. Which is seems is where Cap might be heading.
I love Captain Marvel’s confidence in this scene, it just makes me love her even more. They changed some things from Captain Marvel comics, but I am here for this version of Carol Danvers. She is definitely a great role model for my young girls, saying that her not being with them might be a reason why the Avengers couldn’t beat Thanos. Talk about confidence.
Avengers: Endgame Breakdowns
In case you missed it, I wrote a full breakdown of the second Avengers: Endgame trailer. I feel like there is so much going on in these trailers, but who knows if they are even real. Honestly, I don’t trust the Russo Brothers as far as I can throw them. They are sneaky! I also broke down the Endgame Special Look trailer as well. There was so much to unpack, but again, who knows what is real and what isn’t.
Avengers: Endgame hits theaters April 26th!
The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”
