If You Love Good Food & Winnie The Pooh – The Crystal Palace Breakfast at Walt Disney World is A Must!

Crystal Palace Breakfast Winne the Pooh

If you haven’t figured out that we are a Disney family by now, there is probably no hope for you. Ha, just kidding. But honestly, we are Disney Vacation Club members and love going “home” two or three times a year. We have several must dos when we go, which includes rides, character meet and greets, and of course, restaurants. One that the entire family looks forward to every visit is breakfast at The Crystal Palace at Magic Kingdom.

Character Interaction

There are several reasons that we love stopping in at The Crystal Palace while at WDW, one of which is the characters. Winnie the Pooh and his Pals (Piglet, Eeyore, & Tigger) walk around and greet everyone during the breakfast buffet. Not only do they take photos and sign autographs, but they are some of the best characters to hug. I adore Eeyore and always have to get my photo taken alone with him (of course, I let the girls in for a photo too – after). At some point during the breakfast, they even do a friendship parade! Kids can join their favorite friends from the Hundred-Acre Wood as they parade around the restaurant for a few minutes. This is really the cutest thing ever.

Why A Buffet For Breakfast?

Buffets are one of the most cost efficient meals at Disney World. We love bringing the girls to buffets for breakfast because we stuff them full of food and we can easily have a light lunch, and then stuff ourselves at dinner again. This allows us to get a lot of rides and meet and greets in during the day.

Favorite Foods

All of the food at The Crystal Palace is delicious. That is one of the reasons it is one of our favorite places to eat. For me, they have the best biscuits and gravy! I mean, I dream about it, it is that good. Something else that you have to try is the cinnamon donuts. They are amazing – and probably my 6 year old’s favorite thing to eat at all of Disney World!

The Decor

From the moment we walk in to The Crystal Palace, we are excited. The decorations to celebrate Friendship Day are amazing. There are a few banners hanging up and flowers decorating the room. In the winter, the flower characters wear hats and scarves (which are totally adorable!). The views of Magic Kingdom are fantastic. We like to book a breakfast that is first thing in the morning (prior to park open if possible) and watch the crowd enter the park from our seats. There is nothing quite like it.

You can check out the full menu or book your meal on the Walt Disney World website.
