This article was sponsored by Spin Master Games – thanks for this great game!
We are huge Disney fans in this family. So anything that has to do with Disney, we are all about it. Cars 3 just recently came to theaters – and we saw it opening weekend. It is definitely a movie that we will be picking up when it hits DVD and Blu-ray. Dare I say that it is my favorite of the Cars series? I think so! Naturally we were all thrilled when Spin Master Games sent us Cars 3 Thunder Hollow Mud Madness. We just could not wait to play it!
My daughters are 4 and 6 years old and immediately wanted to open up the game and start playing when it arrived. My niece, who is 11 was visiting, so I was a little worried it might be a bit “young” for her. I was pleasantly surprised when she offered to be on one of the girls’ teams because it is a 2 player game. Within minutes all three of them were laughing and having a blast as they were racing each other around the track!
One of our favorite parts of the game is that kids get to choose if they want to roll a risky or a safe dice. This makes the game a lot of fun, and caused mu daughters to really think when playing this game. If one pulled far enough ahead of the other one, they would start to use the safe dice. It was very smart of them! My niece was here for a whole week after this game arrived and they played it daily! I really enjoyed watching them all have fun together. This is a game we are sure to play over and over in our house! A great game for any Cars 3 fan – or even a fan of board and family games in general!
About Cars 3
Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!
