From the moment we saw the first trailer for The Space Between Us, my husband and I were very excited to see it. It looked like it would be very interesting. We love space related movies and shows – The Expanse is one of our favorite shows and this sort of reminded us of it. What seemed like a great story, a boy born on Mars whose body cannot survive the Earth’s atmosphere, was even better than both of us expected.
Because we had such high expectations of the film, we were nervous that it might fall flat for us. Spoiler alert – it didn’t. The Space Between Us comes to Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand May 16th and I highly recommend picking it up for an at-home date night. Or, if your kids are 12 or older (in my opinion), they would enjoy it too. The plot is great, and doesn’t fail. Plus, the actors are all phenomenal.
